Kenny Driggers, Brewmaster
Born and raised in upstate, SC, Kenny Driggers developed a love for homebrewing during his time at Clemson in the packaging science program. Senior year, he began volunteering at Thomas Creek Brewery, applying his newfound knowledge in the sciences to brewing. He quickly took his love of craft beer from hobby to career and joined Thomas Creek full-time upon graduation in 2014.
An opportunity to expand his brewing experience with Stonehome Brewing Co. arose in 2016 and he went for it, moving to Watford City, North Dakota, to accept the head brewer position. Kenny spent the next two years creating all the recipes and brewing all the beers at Stonehome, visiting breweries and meeting amazing people across the midwest. By October of 2018 Kenny was ready to get away from the cold, so he left North Dakota and traveled Europe, Morocco, and the UK for two months before returning to Greenville, where he developed the brewing operations for Southernside Brewing Co. and sister company Double Stamp Brewery.
When he's not brewing, thinking about brewing, or trying to set up a collaborative brew, Kenny can be found somewhere outside - running, biking, playing disc golf, traveling - wherever the next adventure is.
